About TI DS280BR820- Low Power 28 Gbps 8 Channel Linear Repeater
Is this IC suitable for PCIe gen4?

Currently the customer intends to place this IC in the middle of the PCIe gen 4 ASIC to ASIC.
If the DS280BR820 is not suitable, are there other more suitable part number?

Hi Kami,
The DS280BR820 is not compatible with PCIe signaling such as RX detect sequence. this may causes a PCIe component to not properly detect DS280BR820 termination. At this point, I am not aware of a production PCIe Gen4 redriver.
