USB2.0 High Speed acceptable use?

Part Number: TPD2EUSB30

I see in the 'Layout Examples' in the Datasheet http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tpd2eusb30a.pdf for the TPD2EUSB30 that I can use the TPD2EUSB30ADRTR for USB 2.0 lines, however nowhere in any documentation can I find that it is acceptable and specified as okay for use with USB 2.0. I am seeking clarification that the use shown in the Layout Examples of this part being used just the same for USB 2.0 lines is acceptable and optimal.
