Sorry but I don't understand your question. What is Type C de-emphasis? I also cannot understand what you are asking for in your second sentence.

You mentioned the "The transmitter providing the parallel data to the serializer has programmed pre-emphasis or too much gain for the USB cable length. Try reducing the amount of signal pre-conditioning before sending data through the serializer. "

Hi Philip,

That is not me in the thread you referenced. However, it seems the issue that customer faced had to do with a short cable length and too much signal conditioning. I don't believe the issue had to do with USB, so the connection should be possible.
