My customers want to apply the LM1881 as an ISL59885 replacement.

What should be important when reviewing?

Is there any problem to replace it immediately?

LM1881 does not support HD signal which ISL59885 does. Since LM1881 was released in 1995 before HD signal came in market.

LMH1980 looks support HD. Please create new post and ask questions on it for LMH1980 if interested in.
