DP83867IS: Can DP83867ERGZ-R-EVM board work in SGMII mode ?

Hi,

DP83867ERGZ-R EVM has RGMII only part. You have to use DP83867CS parts to enable SGMII.

However it also depends on what you plan to do with SGMII DP83867 on EVM. In case you want to connect the SGMII interface to your Host MAC, you will LVDS lines thru SMA which is only available on DP83867SGMII EVM

Can we use jumping wire to connect the SGMII interface to our host MAC directly ? in this case , Can we use the DP83867ERGZ-R-EVM for SGMII test purpose ?

one more thing,

Does DP83867IS or DP83867E support SGMII interface ?

Hi,

SGMII is high speed interface and lines have to be routed differentially. Unfortunately jumper wires will not work properly.
