test condition:

D+,D- pin;

ESD 8KV,contact,

Vmax clamp=11.1V

Is the voltage ok?

The Absolute Maximum Ratings of CPU's D+/D- pin is 6V,It will damage the CPU.

Can you help to resolve it?

By the way,what's the Vcalmp in the conditon of the following test described by spec?

ESD Performance D+/D–/ID/VBUS Pins:
– ±15-kV Contact Discharge (IEC 61000-4-2)
– ±15-kV Air Gap Discharge (IEC 61000-4-2)

Hi,

When the 15KV and 8KV touch the D+/- the TPD4S014 will discharge the voltage into very low threshold , you can find the datasheet show about 15V but this period is very short only about 50nS. This short time will not damage your system .

We don't have more detailed clamped voltage in the 15KV test result . sorry !

Why the period is very long for ms? You can see the wave in the attached of the first question.
