SN55LVCP22-SP: cold spareable?

Part Number: SN55LVCP22-SP

Is the SN55LVCP22-SP cold spareable?

We believe it’s not, but need to know for sure.

  • Mike,

Christian is out of the office this week.

He or someone will respond to this soon.  Just wanted to let you know there may a little delay.

  • Mike,

I took a look at this, and it is cold sparable.

There is a spec for the outputs called Ioff.  This is the leakage on the outputs when the supply is off.  This shows the outputs have +/-15uA of leakage when device is off, essentially a tristated output.

The control inputs have no dependency to supply rails in the absolute max section.  This indicates there are not any conventional ESD diodes to power rail.  This allows the inputs to exceed VCC when powered off.  Note, that the Iin spec has condition for VCC= 3.6 and 0V.
