TUSB8041-Q1: Is AC coupling cap at USB_SSTXP_UP and USB_SSTXM_UP line needed when intra-board connection?

hello, the datasheet says 100nF coupling cap is needed for SSTXP and SSTXM. is this still needed when connection is done in the same board?

Hi,

This capacitance is still need in this case. USB spec requires AC coupling capacitance on the super-speed transmitter so this is also required on the USB Host SSTX even though connection is on the same board.
