Hi Team,

Please help to confirm whether sn65hvd63's oscillator ppm is ok.

In datasheet, its requirement is:

Our customer's oscillator PPM is:

For full temperature, it has +/-50ppm. Nearly all the oscillator have this level spec.

Is this oscillator able to satisfy SN65HVD63's requirement?

If no, what spec of SN65HVD63 will be affected? Any oscillator is recommended?

+/-30ppm is for the full operating temperature(-40C~105C)?

Hi Marvin,

This oscillator should be OK. The 30 ppm specification represents the range over which performance was characterized, but the design should accommodate a wider range if needed. The oscillator accuracy will determine the frequency of the RF carrier that is output from the modulator, which per AISG requirements should be at worst 100 ppm.
