Hi Sir,

Customer use TUSB544 EVM, there’s a problem that USB3 works but DP doesn’t work.

Would you pls help to check if something wrong for config?

Here is configuration:

SLP_S0# : High

VIO_SEL : 1k ohm to GND(Low)

I2C_EN : Floating

DIR1 : L

DIR0 : L

CTL1 : H

CTL0 : H

FLIP : L

SWAP : L

Are you powering up the EVM externally with a 5V supply?

Please check and make sure the HPD is high.

Can you configure the board to be 4 lane DP mode and retry?

Do you have a way to capture the CC and AUX link training log file?

Hi David,

We power up EVM with VBUS 5V. After pulling up HPD and adjust DC gain to the 2 dB(Upstream & Downstream),

DP can transmit signal, do link training. Now it’s seems that link training fail so that DP doesn’t work.

The attached file is CC and AUX log file.

Could you help to check ?

Which tool do you use to capture the CC and AUX log file?

Besides the DC gain, did you tune the RX equalizer?
