TPS65988DJ: TPS65988DJ Billboard Event issue

Hi Sir,

Our Customer's TPS65988DJ used V5.13 Version TPS6598X-CONFIG, They are have set Billboard Event in TI Tool, But not function on product.

Could you please double check this issue on V5.13 Version TPS6598X-CONFIG?

Hi Hugo,

Please be aware that the TPS65988 does not support USB Billboard. The GPIO event for the Billboard event will just toggle when a Billboard event is expected. It will not complete the USB Billboarding. A separate chip is required in the system to handle USB billboarding.

Yes, I Know the TPS65988 not support USB Billboard, But we need GPIO toggle to control A separate chip is required in the system to handle USB billboarding.

But not function on product.

Hi Eric

We have use TPS65987_8_HOST Application Customization 6.2.1 and TPS65987_8_HOST Application Customization 5.25 FW. We use C to A cable keep in usb mode ( The system did not into DP ALT mode).

The GPIO always keep low.
