DS90CR286A: DS90CR286AMTD

Part Number: DS90CR286A

Hi Team,

Customer is using DS90CR286AMTD to convert camera_link to RGB, and finds that the RGB receiver can not detect the correct resolution.

The input signal of camera_link camera is 640*512 and the frame rate is 50fps.

After the chip works, it is found that the VSYNC signal is 50 hz, the HSYNC signal is 26.32 kHz and the DE signal is always high.

Questions:

1. Is it normal that DE signal is always high?

2. For input signal 640x512 50fps, what is the correct frequency value of the converted Vsync and hsync?

Here is the schematic:

Amy Luo

  • Amy,

286A is one de-ser device, and convert the input serial LVDS signals to parallel signals, and these parallel outputs are gotten from the LVDS input signals, so please check whether the input has DE signals.

    Questions:

    1. Is it normal that DE signal is always high?

-> pls check whether the LVDS input integrates the DE signal. what is the paired part with 286A? pls check this part's output signals.

    2. For input signal 640x512 50fps, what is the correct frequency value of the converted Vsync and hsync?

-> this is made by the video generator. 286 can't change it. if the frame rate is 50fps, it means the Vsync. is 1/50s.
