TLK106: Auto-MDIX mode

Hello,

TLK106 supports Auto-MDIX. It seems we can use cross cable or strait cable either because negotiation happens with link partner. Is my understanding about Auto-MDIX correct?

Hello Toshihiro,

Yes your understanding of Auto-MDIX is correct. Are you using TLK106 for a new design? If yes, you can consider using the DP83822I. If not, we will continue to support existing projects with this product.
