Hi Dhanapal,
The second line contains the year, month, and assembly site code of the product's lot. The third line displays the lot code. These markings are used to identify when and where a device was manufactured.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Hi Eric,
The date code in the received component is 1807.
Can you please decode the date code out of 84KG4.
As per the CoC received lot code also is not matching.
Can you please clarify out of this.
CoC is as attached hereEMACS181091.pdf
Hi Dhanapal,
It looks like the Mouser order uses a different format for date codes and lot codes. The date format follows YY = Decade and year, WW = work week in that year. In this case, 1807 would be February 13-19 in 2018. More info on how to decipher here:
www.mouser.com/.../Omron_How To Read a Date Code.pdf
Using the TI marking and code for 84KG4, this would be April of 2018.
The lot numbers are more difficult to track. I believe different methods are used to track production vs shipping.
There does appear to be a mismatch between these dates. It is possible that the reel you ordered is an assembly of other partial reels. The date listed on the CoC may have been correct for one of the devices in the reel, not necessarily the newest, oldest, or majority. Does one of the devices you ordered have a date code that is consistent with the one listed on the CoC?
If this is not the case, it may be a logistical complication occurring between manufacturing at TI and packaging at Mouser. As this is a technical forum, this information can be tricky to track down for our purposes.
Let me know if you would like more information on this, or if the time-frame stated above is accurate enough for your purposes.

Eric
Hi,
Can you please specify clearly that, which character specifies year, which one is week number and the which is lot code?
With thanks,
Dhanapal M
Hi Dhanapal,
In the case of the marking on your device:
This indicates the part number for MAX3223IDBR
'8' indicates the year 2018.
A different marking scheme was used before 2010 so all years with this marking are "201Y"
'4' indicates the 4th month, April.
October through December will be denoted with 'A' through 'C', counting months in hexadecimal.
'K' is the assembly site code.
"G4" is the Pb-Free Category (eCat) code.
This line is the device's lot number.
I hope this helps clarify.
Regards,
Eric
