TVS2700: Current flow and operating temperature range

Part Number: TVS2700

Hi support team,

I have two questions about TVS2700.

(1)

How can I calculate how much current is actually flowing?

40V spike is reduced to 30V by TVS2700.

About 10V is dropped.

Usually used at 24V.

The reason I want to know is to check if the rating of this IC has been exceeded, and to check if the rating of the diode in the preceding stage has been exceeded.

(2)

Since the ABS of ambient operating temperature range is -40 to 125, is there any problem if it is used within this range?

Or is it necessary to calculate the junction temperature from the flowing current?

Although it exceeds 30V, this IC is effective for a moment, but 24V is applied between IN and GND for a long time.

Almost no current flows, so I think that there is no problem, but just in case.

Regards,
