Hi,

My customer needs Automotive TCAN vs TJA1051T/E. They need enable pin, and need to know the consumption of our device compared to NXP, in particular in silent mode and when the IC is disabled. Can yiu please provide me these info?

They do not need level shifters, max fault protection 58V is ok and 500kBps data rate is ok. Which p/n should you recommend me?

    We have the TCAN1051 that is meant to be the pin-to-pin replacement for the TJA1051, but we don't have any 5V CAN transceivers that have EN. We have a 3.3V CAN transceiver that has EN on pin 5 and silent mode, the SN65HVD234. Would the customer be okay with a 3.3V CAN transceiver, or do they want 5V only?
