DP83825EVM: F5 Launchpad Flashing Problem

Hello Team,

I am trying to flash MSP430F5529 following USB-2-MDIO Software Tool user guide 2.3.1 Flashing MSP430G2 LaunchPad and encounter problem flashing the F5 launchpad. After clicking on F5.bat file, the message shows error in driver. I would like to clarify if there is a hardware problem.

In 2.2 Hardware Setup MSP430F5 Series, it says "To properly configure the F5 Series, the user will need to remove the 3V3 jumper located between the 5V and RTS jumpers.Connect the desired I/O voltage to the 3V3 header located at J10." Is it required to supply a external 3.3V to J10 on F5 launchpad when flahshing F5 launchpad?

Hi Ting,

It isn't "required" to supply an external 3.3V, it's recommended you supply the same I/O voltage to all connected devices. The launchpad can interface with a range of voltages as described in section 2.2.

Have all drivers been downloaded and installed as described in section 2?
