Do you know if TUSB544 can be used on TGL platform?

Do we have plan on USB4.0 retimer?

    Hi Peter,

    Currently we do not have a USB 4.0 retimer in our roadmap. TUSB544 could be used with TGL platform but only for USB 3.2 Gen1 x1, DP alternate mode, ports. TUSB1044 can also be used for 10G support  (USB 3.2 Gen2 x1, DP alternate mode) with TGL platforms. TUSB544 cannot support a full function USB4 port due to data rate limitation and some interface incompatibility.
