Hello,

I have a question about TCA9554 address input pins(A0/A1/A2).
Are those inputs recognized only in power up sequence or any time?

    Hi Sawamoto-san,

    The behavior I think you are referring to is called Dynamic Addressing. This feature describes a device's ability to change its address while powered without the need for a reset. The digital cores for TCA9554's family of devices supports this feature and means that the address pins are not latched during startup. Changes in these inputs can be changed any time without device reset. Note it is not recommended to change the state of these pins during the address phase of an I2C message.
