Hi Support, please advise whether TCAN1042VDRQ1 is anti-sulfuration compliant.
Hi,
We don't often work with these types of compliance standards. I'm not aware of any testing or certification done for these parts regarding this process.
From my understanding, sulfuration refers to the process in which atmospheric sulfur reacts with silver in electronics causing an insulator to form in what was once a conductor. This is a concern in many thin-film resistors. TCAN1042VDRQ1 does not contain silver in its die and is bonded using Copper. The pins are Copper with a Nickel-Palladium-Gold finish. For this reason, it seems we have not evaluated TCAN1042V-Q1 for such susceptibilities.
Regards,
Eric
