We have this problem with DS90CF384A (illustrated in the picture, sorry for the picture's quality). Any gradients are displayed as illustrated. All nets correspond to User's Guide SNLA014A. What we can do wrong?

Yeah, gradient should be more smooth, but we have stepped transition. Maybe we could mix up some pins? Or maybe need some capacitors?

This looks like the video source characteristic, not a function of the device. If the video source contains a low color depth/resolution then you will see such stepping in the video visually. It could also be the characteristic of the display color reproduction capability.
