SN65LVDS31: Output current capability

Hello expert,

In previous discussion we was recommended to use SN65LVDS31 and SN65LVDS33 for SPI over LVDS application.
However they have concern regarding output current capability.
SN65LVDS31's typical short-circuit output current is 4mA but they experienced need approx 24mA for driving their SPI bus.
So is there alternate device for SN65LVDS31 and SN65LVDS33?

Hi Kazuki-san,

Do they mean the SN65LVDS33? The SN65LVDS31 won't be driving the SPI bus since the output is differential.

Hi Kazuki-san,

I don't believe we have any LVDS receivers that can drive 24mA. Where is this number coming from? Is the customer sure they really need that much current for a SPI bus?
