Galaxy note 9 is working display alternative mode but The Galaxy 8 only charges, but it doesn't work.

I wonder if it's a circuit issue, a software issue or a phone compatibility issue

galaxy 8, galaxy note 9 is good working I don't think it's a phone compatibility issue

so plz check the circuit and tps65982 software

Do you have a Type-C PD analyzer such as the total phase analyzer? https://www.totalphase.com/products/usb-power-delivery-analyzer/

For an issue like this, you will need to look at the Type-C PD communication for the Galaxy note 9 and Galaxy 8, and see if there are any differences between them. They will help isolate where the potential problem is if there is one.
