THVD1410: Definition of tpzh and tpzl

Part Number: THVD1410

I think that not "RE" but "DE" is correct related to following.

Is this typo?

If yes, are "tpzh" and "tpzl" value correct?

Best Regards,

  • Hello Kuramochi-san,

I believe the wording in the datasheet is correct.  The driver enable time is measured following the rising edge of the DE signal, and it is measured with two different states on /RE: one static high and one static low.  This timing is different under these conditions - it takes significantly longer for the driver to become enabled when it is previously in a state with DE low and /RE high.  The reason for this is because in that state (i.e., with both driver and receiver disabled) the devices turns off some internal circuitry that is common to both driver and receiver in order to reduce ICC to very low levels, and restoring operation of this circuitry takes more time.

Please let me know if this is not clear or if you have further questions.

    Max Robertson.
