AM26LV31E-EP: AM26LV31E input current and IOH,IOL

Part Number: AM26LV31E-EP

Hello.

In the datasheet of AM26LV31E-EP the max input current is 10[uA].

1.does this means that if i want to use pull up resistor the maximum current through each pin is 10[uA]?

Another Q:

2.the parameters IOH,IOL - does this means that every pin consumes 30[mA] during operation?or that is the total power of the i/o pins?

thank you.

  • Hello,

Yes, the maximum input current is the highest input current that the pin could source or sink for that particular test condition. You should choose external pull up or pull down resistors to be strong enough to overcome this input leakage current.

The output currents would not always match the IOH/IOL specification; the current from a given output would depend on the load resistance applied to it.

Please let me know if this is not clear or if you have any further questions.

    Regards,

    Max
