Is  there an application note that discusses the optimal placement for ESD diodes to protect the GPIO pins of MCUs such as C2000 MCUs?

    Hi Hareesh,

    Welcome to E2E!

    The datasheet of each device has its own "layout guideline" section that goes over layout recommendations without going into much detail.

    I am not aware of a piece of collateral that talks about GPIO pins of MCUs specifically, but the application report "ESD Layout Guide" explains the general topic in more detail.
