Hi team,

When 4.9152MHz of external clock isuse, what is the maximum baud rate of this device?

Could you tell me how to calculate the maximum baud rate VS external clock frequency?

    Hello Saito-san,

    Any reason why you are using the C version over the D version? The D version has wider Vcc support, wider Max clock speed support, uses a newer process technology, higher Max baud rate, and should be pin to pin compatible with the C version.

    The Max Baud rate for the C version is 1Mbps. The device itself requires a 16x clock MINIMUM for the desired baudrate for communication. If you are using a 4.9152MHz clock then at MAX you can select up to a ~307.2kbps baudrate.
