TVS0500: Ethernet 100M data line

Hi,

Has TVS0500 been ever inserted during Ethernet 100M data line and GND?

I'm concerning about decreasing bandwidth.

    Hi Kuramochi,

    Welcome to E2E!

    Due to the capacitance of the TVS0500 this device is not typically placed in data lines. A device with also a high surge rating per IEC 61000-4-5 surge standard with lower capacitance would be the ESDS312 for a 2 channel device and the ESDS314 for 4 channels. The only drawback is that these devices on have a working voltage to up to 3.6V. If the application works in this range then both devices should be able to support the application. Do you think these devices could fit your application?
