Hi team,

My customer is interested in the DS80PCI102SQE. Could you answer to the question below from the customer?

Is it possible to connect two DS80PCI102 as follows?

Host -->  DS80PCI102SQE -->  DS80PCI102SQE --> Slave

If it's ok, could you tell me a concern(e.g. skew) for the waveform?

    Greetings Yamaguchi-San,

    We recommend using a single redrivers in the signal path. Having two redrivers make it harder to fine tune settings across these two parts across multiple devices. Suggestion is to use a single redriver with highest insertion loss on its input. 

    Also, please recommend using IBIS-AMI model of the device to do some initial simulation to make sure it meets customer loss budget environment.
