DS64BR111: De-emphasis settings on output

Hello,

We have approximately 20 inches of copper length on PCB (FR4) between outputs of ds64br111 to receiver (with 2 contacts on the way). The receiver has equalization on input (set to equalize 18 inch over FR4).

Can you suggest a sufficient level of de-emphasis on the output of ds64br111?

The receiver can handle 0,4Vdiffp-p to 2.0diffp-p max on input so the default VOD on output seems to be enough (700mV on channel A and 1000mV on channel B).

Hi Mikael,

Suggestion is if you allow the receiver to do the equalization while using 0dB de-emphasis on DS64 device - as needed. It is better to have one side doing the equalization as much as possible - preferrebly on the EQ side.
