TCAN1042HGV-Q1: How to distinguish with 'G' from without 'G' option?

Hi there,

I bought some samples of TCAN1042HGVDRQ1. But it works only at 2 Mbits. I doubt it is a without 'G' option IC which not support 5M. From the datasheet, TCAN1042HVDRQ1 has the same marking. How do I know it has 'G' option or not?

Is the transceiver not working at higher data rates? What kind of errors are you getting?

You are correct in that the marking is the same regardless of "G" or not, so it would be a matter of checking the order and running tests to make sure the device works past 2Mbps.

It works on 2M bits/s only. It should be 5M. I thought the seller sent me wrong samples.
