DS90UH940N-Q1: DS90UH940 as repeater

Using this device as DESER and DS90UH941 as SER, I want to integrate a repeater in a Video-Chain.

DSI Clock Jitter of 941is specified as <0.3 UI-FPD, Output Clockjitter of 940 is specified as <0.35 UI. If this UI is referred to DSI-Clock this konstellation with MIPI back to back will not work.

Is this correct `?

Hi Walter,

Could you point me to the section where you see 940 output clock jitter is <0.35UI? I will look into further.

Hi Charley,

the Jitter is not specified, but rise and fall times. So i'm just assuming if there is just a small diturbance in the power supply -> there will be also a additional Jitter to the Jitter of the original Transmitter.

Actually we have this problem with DS90UH947 and DS90UH948. Just connected Back to Back with the OLDI interface it will not work with all devices and we have to select the transmitters

Yes, you are correct. Based on Max Spec, the repeater configuration will be challenging.
