Does void under coupling capacitors and pads of connector and TUSB542 is must ?If we we keeping void then it should be

only on next layer or how it should be ?

at 5g, void may not needed for Caps.

can you show what is the pad of connector?

Hi Brian

This is GND layer of TUSB 542 evaluation kit , you can see below the some PADS of IC and connectors there is void.

it's not needed for TUSB542
