Dear Sir,

May I know, if TUSB320 EVM can work in DFP mode with 5V adaptor attached then output 3A from typeC port?

My customer did some testing with EVM but still fail to get 3A from typeC.

Is there any guideline for EVM setting?

    Hi Peter,

    Could I get some more detail, does Vbus go high when a UFP termination is detected on the CC line? Did customer place a 3A load on Vbus or a UFP device? The EVM can advertise the 3A capability but it is up to the attached load to draw the full 3A. Is customer measuring the VBUS current?

    Customer should follow settings in section 3.2 DFP Operation in the EVM users guide.
