TLK106: how to get the MAC-addresses?

Hello.

We are going to produce a series of devices with TLK106 onboard.
The user of end equipment requests us to provide the MAC-addresses in advance. He's going to setup the gird infrastructure basing on this information.

Is there a way to get the information about MAC-address assigned to certain TLK106 device, before end equipment is manufactured?

Hi Slava,

The MAC address belongs to upper layer and is not related to DP83867 PHY. The PHY does not generate any MAC address.

Please also note that the TLK106 is not recommended for new designs. The DP83822 or DP83826 may be better alternatives for continued TI support.

Do I get right, that MAC-address (in the case of using TLK106) is determined by MCU/MPU, by which TLK106 is controlled?
