TCA9539-Q1: Additional Information

Part Number: TCA9539-Q1

Hello Team,

I am looking for radiation and manufacturing information for the TCA9539-Q1. Can someone please assist?

Best,
Dajon McGill

  • Hi Dajon,

TCA9539-Q1's internal state machine is controlled by externally through SCL and SDA. Because there is no internal oscillator or independant frequency generation in this device (responses on SDA are in reference to what's driven externally on SCL),you can expect very little inherent emissions from this IC. The main sources of radiated energies will be from externally driven signals to this device (SCL) and high-frequency noise generated based on signal/IO transitions. Because these transitions will vary depending on the load being driven (capacitance of a signal line or load characteristics of an IO line), such emissions will be heavily system-dependent. Is there a particular concern regarding radiated emissions from this device? Or is a system which implements this device undergoing tests for such characteristics?

Regarding manufacturing information, we may be able to help with your question here on the forums if it is public knowledge or general enough. Feel free to inquire in your response and if anything is confidential, we can continue the conversation through emails.
