DS90LV047A: Rise/fall time queries for input pin & EN pin

Part Number: DS90LV047A

Hi,

May I know if I can refer to the datasheet Section 6.6 for rise/fall time specifications on input pin D1 through D4? If I'm dealing an input signal with rise time of 10~11ns, is this device still suited for the application?

Also what are the possible scenarios which may result in long rise time of EN enable pin? Does propagation delay from external signal sourcing into EN pin be one of the factor?

BR,

Leo

  • Hi Leo,

The rise/fall time specifications in the datasheet are only for the LVDS outputs. There's no upper limit on the rise/fall time on the input signals so yes you can still use this device for your application.

EN is an input so rise/fall on this pin depends on whatever is driving it.

    Regards,

    I.K.
