SN65LVDT41: Protection against conducted susceptibility CS114 and CS115

Part Number: SN65LVDT41

I use the SN65LVDT41 in my design to report status to the customer. I also use the receiver to inputs to receive a command from the customer. I want to ask if there's any recommendation for protecting the device against MIL-STD 461F CS114 and CS115 bulk cable injection?

I notice that the equivalent circuit stated in the datasheet has some diode on the output but I assume there is no actual diode inside the IC. Should I put some 5-6V Zener from each differential pair to ground? One thing to note is there is no ground wire between my device and the customer, only the differential pairs get connected.
