TUSB546EVM: Why are the AUX_CH (p) and (n) NC on the EVM schematic?

Part Number: TUSB546EVM

Hi team,

For this EVM schematic, I noticed the AUX_CH(p) and AUX_CH(n) lines have their pullups/pulldowns as NC. In addition, there are no AC coupling caps (instead there are 0 ohm resistors).

Why is this?

Thanks,

Lauren

On the EVM, one side is connected to a DP source and the other side is connected to a Type-C sink. The AC caps and pullup/pulldown are already populated at both the DP source and the Type-C sink, so there is no need to populate them again on the EVM.

    Thanks
