TCAN1043G-Q1: CAN Communication problem in TCAN 1043-Q1

Part Number: TCAN1043G-Q1

Hi All,

We are facing communication issue in  TCAN 1043.

From Software we have made high ( permanently) the EN & nSTB pin.

We observe that, initially CAN communication gets started but after sending quite number of packets ( the sending packet numbers are irregular in number, once we saw that there were 25000 packets delivered) communication gets stopped, and the INH pin of CAN IC, gets to low, which causes the voltage dips.

My first suspect was, that may be high current is causing the dip in 5v & 3.3V  ( Vio), while nSTB pin is signaled high & communication is happening, and this causes the INH pin to goes low, which shuts down the power supply.

But  seeing the waveform, where we have captured the INH & 5v ( and 3,3V). We see INH comes low much earlier, than the 5V comes down, which implies that loss of voltage at Vio is not causing the low to INH, rather than INH is causing the low to 5V & 3.3V.

We have also checked the WAKE pin waveform, which also does not change its' direction..

In software, we are only transmitting data, not receiving anything, can it be the cause of the problem?
