Hi Team,

We are evaluating TPS65987DDH at the following condition.

Then, source board supply 5V and around 800mA at source and sink capability 5V/0.9A so correct behavior.

However, VBUS LED of sink board is blinking.

Could you please let us know the conditions for VBUS LED to blink on sink board?

Our develop source board** => USB-C-PD-DUO-EVM Sink Board* => Dummy Load.

*EVM are default setting.

**Raw view value setting of TIDA-050012 source board of TPS65981_2_6_7_8 Application Customization 6.1.

  • Dear Hide,

Can you please program your board with the Standard TPS65987DDH project? You are programming your board with a project meant specifically for the TIDA-050012 which has specific programming for the buttons on the source board.

In addition, the diode for VBUS on the sink board indicates the power status directly. If it is blinking, it means that there is an unstable supply. Can you please probe the VBUS line on the sink board if this still happens after reprogramming your board?

    Thanks,

    Mike Emanuel
