Can you walk me through your test process to determine CC is shorted to ground? What are you plugging in to the EVM? What LEDs are you seeing?

Hi Emma,

When we plug-in power with the barrel jack connector to the EVM, the fault Led is on.

So we use multi-meter to catch different points and found that CC2 is shorted to ground.

I measured C27's pins, they are both shorted to ground.

Hi Emma,

We don't have 0201 size 220pF, so we can't replace C27 right now. But we removed it and checked the pads.

We found both pads are shorted with ground, it means that TPS65987's pin26 C1_CC2 is shorted with ground, too.
