I want to confirm a few things. Have you gone through the document linked below? Are the connections correct? Has the microcontroller been flashed and you see the LEDs? Is the firmware the latest version?

The tested configuration is shown below.
1) Connect the probe to MDC (P1.4)
2) Execute "Find PHY ID" with USB-2-MDIO tool

I couldn't get the waveform with an oscilloscope.
It's not connected to the PHY's MDC, but I think it will give a signal.

The version of MSP Flasher is v1.3.20
USB_2_MDIO_G2.hex is the 2014/12/24 version

Hi Mishima,

Do you see more than one COM port you can connect to? There might be up to three serial COM ports that appear when you connect the USB cable. Have you tried connecting to each COM port and seeing if any of them work?
