DP83867CS: SGMII circuit Vod and Vos

Hello experts,

I got question about differential output voltage(Vod) and offset voltage(Vos) of SGMII circuit.

In datasheet P24, it is described that "The SGMII interface uses 1.25Gbps LVDS differential signaling...".

It means differential output voltage=350mV and offset voltage=1.25V same as LVDS specification.

Is my understanding correct?

Hi Ryo-san,

Apologies for the delay. The SGMII signal should fall within the spec, VoD = 150mV - 400 mV and Offset Voltage =1.075V - 1.325 V.

I understand SGMII signal should fall within the specs which you mentioned.

If you have, is it possible to share the document which mention the spec(VoD=150-400mV, Vos=1.075-1.325V)?

Also, the spec is for the requirement for output volatge, I think.

Do you have any requirement spec for receive voltage?

I would appreciate if you would give me comment.

The SGMII spec should be a publicly available online. You may search for Serial-GMII Specification Revision 1.8.
