Hi,

I would like to know if 10k ohm resistors used on the FORCEON and FORCEOFF_N in TRS3122E RS232 transceiver is fine. If not kindly suggest the value of the resistors to be used or will it be appropriate to not use the resistors. VDDIO_501_PS is 1.8V. Please find the design attached herein.

Kaveri,

10k ohm pull-up resistors will work for this. I've notified an expert of this thread for any further comments.

Wanted to confirm if both 10k ohm pull-up and pull down resistor will work

Yes, 10kOhm pull up work with these two pins. BTW, please choose capacitor (C24, C25, C26, C27, C28) with the voltage rating > 10V.
