Dear team, 

Is there any power limit specification of current limit resistor? 

I know the Rset value is using to make internal comparator input voltage. is it right? If yes, How much current flow across Rset resistor? 

We have to decide Rset resister size. That's why I am asking power limit specification of Rset.

    Hi Dino,

    There is not a power limit specification for the Rset current limit resistor and there is very little current sourced across this resistor.  I don't see any limitations on the types of resistors you could use and a low wattage small package resistor should work just fine.  It is common for this device to be used in small sensors with an 0201 resistor on this pin.  So any 1/4 watt or 1/8 watt resistor should work fine.

    You are also correct that this resistor sets a voltage level on a comparator that is used to set the over current fault level.
