TLK110: TP_IDL compliance test

Hi Team,

My customer is the only one in the compliance test to fail the following test.

　・10 Base-T, TP_IDL Template, without TPM (last bit CD0): Fail

　・10 Base-T, TP_IDL Template, without TPM (last bit CD1): Fail

　・10 Base-T, TP_IDL Template, with TPM (last bit CD0): Pass

　・10 Base-T, TP_IDL Template, with TPM (last bit CD1): Pass

Does the TLK110EVM pass the compliance test?

What measures can be taken to reduce the jitter?

Hello Kenji,

Is correct procedure followed to configure TLK for the compliance testing? Following thread can help to verify the configuration for the test:

Also we recommend usign Tektronix TDSET test suite for the testing for the accuracy of the measurement.

I dont see any reason for EVM not to pass the compliance test and they can use it for reference.

Hi Vikram-san,

Thank you for your answer, I understood that the TLK110EVM has passed the compliance test.

My customer is following the correct procedure. All other items have passed.

The customer has had compliance testing done by an outside agency.

They are not free to use TektronixTDSET.

I have asked the customer to review the clock quality.
