The TVS1400 is rated for 60 W for a 10/1000 us waveform when it is forward biased (GND to IN). It is rated for 140 W when it is reversed biased (IN to GND). TV04WF doesn't specify whether the rating is forward or reversed, but I would assume reversed since that is normal operation for the device.

Yes, it looks like TV04WF has a better 10/1000us power rating than TVS1400. TVS1400 is the best 14 V part we currently have in our portfolio. One thing to note is that TVS1400 has a much better clamping voltage at Ipp than TV04WF. TVS1400 is ~18 V where TV04WF is ~23 V. Therefore, your system will receive less voltage during a surge event with TVS1400 than with TV04WF. Just something to consider.
