THVD1510: 485 with automatic receiving and sending control, no external MCU is needed to control

Hi team,

My customer want to replace MAX13487EESA+. And I recommend THVD1510.

But as customer feedback, MAX13487EESA+, they need 485 with automatic receiving and sending control, no external MCU is needed to control.

Could our THVD1510 support this requirement?

This is not a feature that is present on the THVD1510, the user would still need to control the DE and RE pins through the microcontroller. We do have this application note that explains how to implement automatic direction control on half-duplex RS485 transceivers.
