HD3SS215EVM: Can not support the 4K60 resolution

Hi Sir,

My customer tested the HD3SS215EVM it can not output the 4K60 signals, but TS3DV642 can support this resolution, how to fix this issue for the HD3SS215EVM?

Hi,

1. Does the HD3SS215EVM work at 4K@30Hz? I want to make sure the EVM is setting up correctly

2. Since the HD3SS215 is a passive MUX only without any signal compensation capability, can you reduce the HDMI cable length at both the input and the output?

Hi David,

After I checked with customer for the test condition for 4K30 and 4K60 as I showed pictures on here.
HDMI source and sink side connect the Teledyne LeCroy 780E to HD3SS215EVM with 1.8m cable(source) and 0.3m cable(sink)

Hi,

That's 2.1m cable plus the HD3SS215 EVM loss itself. The HD3SS215 is a passive MUX without any signal conditioner to compensate for the loss. Can they use a shorter cable to reduce the total amount of loss?
